A dream place, with comfort, décor, and the view from the cabin, but above all thanks to Zaida and her family. They made us feel at home. If we could give 20 points, we would. Ten is too little. Eternally grateful for such a wonderful stay! I wish we could stay longer!

A gigantic window overlooking Lake Titicaca, devoted owners, and a short 20‑minute walk to the labyrinth and the trailhead for the North‑South hike. The terrace was great for the breakfasts the owner brought every morning. No complaints, just a nice hill to climb (or descend) when leaving the lodge.

The staff were enthusiastic and helpful, the breakfast was fantastic, and the dinner restaurant they recommended was also delicious. The lake view from the window was unbeatable, and hearing the birds before getting up felt wonderful. The shower’s wet‑dry separation could use an extra curtain so water doesn’t splash out. The hot water flow is weak, but that’s understandable given the limited resources on Sun Island’s north side.

We went to Isla del Sol after the June lockdowns, and the island was practically empty, which felt like a luxury for us. Zaida, the owner, was attentive from the moment we arrived, showing us around and explaining everything. The room is spectacular, with lake views, a needle heater, and a mini stove, so we stayed warm in full winter. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable, and the shower is wonderful. They brought us dinner to the room, all delicious, and we ate with a lake view. Breakfast was also delivered to the patio/terrace with spectacular views. Zaida stayed on top of everything and was very kind. The place is well maintained and they’re making improvements. We’ll return.
