“Very relaxing spa break in a beautiful location”
We booked a superior double and the room was spacious, with a nice bathroom and a balcony that offered a fantastic view; the king‑size bed was very comfortable. The spa and gym were excellent, and the staff greeted us warmly and were very friendly, with everything working—something that’s rare at other places. The pool was warm and not heavily chlorinated. Dining in the restaurant was delicious, and the bar staff made top‑drawer cocktails. We did have a service dog, which meant we couldn’t stay on the top floor, and we really wanted peace and quiet, but the noisy neighbors above us seemed to be on a sponsored walk and walked around a lot; fortunately we had ear plugs. At supper in the tea room, the lighting felt too bright, which was the only drawback to our romantic meal.
