“Une belle expérience”

Jesus and his wife are lovely hosts. The luxury room is very beautiful and clean, while the standard room feels more rustic. The property sits away from the other islands. Note: a 15‑sol fee per person for lake access and 20 s for the transfer from the port to the island. The accommodation has compost toilets. The breakfast is very good. You can also pay a small fee for dinner, and Jesus can book excursions or taxis. The hot water arrival was a bit slow, and it gets very cold at night, though heating and hot water bottles are available. The city of Puno is awful.

“Incroyable logement sur le lac Titicaca”

Incredible! Our stay with Jesus and Mary was exceptional. He picked us up at the port, sent a taxi to the hotel, introduced us to local life, and shared lots of info and anecdotes. The lodging is amazing; we were alone in the middle of nowhere with a stunning lake view. Marie’s home‑cooked meals were delicious. There’s a small gas heater for warmth and hot water bottles included with the meal. We loved it and recommend it! The only downside was a lack of water in the bathroom in the morning.

“Ok if you prefer a remote serene location”

The property sits on one of the floating islands surrounded by the lake, offering tranquil surroundings and amazing views. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and a heater was provided along with hot water bottles for extra warmth. The host was lovely. However, being on an island made it remote and hard to access food supplies; we had to be picked up by boat from the dock. The host was very accommodating. Additionally, we shortened our stay because I’m sensitive to smells and the ensuite bathroom/toilet situation was unpleasant. It’s not a flush toilet, so the odors seeped into the room, making me nauseated on top of altitude sickness, which was the main downside for me.

“Super hosts!”

Jesus and Maria are super hosts. We left our AirPods behind, and they did everything to help us retrieve them. So helpful and nice!!

“A melhor hospedagem de Uros! Localização perfeita, camas super confortáveis e atendimento cuidadoso”

This stay surpassed all my expectations. The setting is breathtaking, the beds are supremely comfortable, and the silence was absolute; we finished our trip on a high note. Communication with Jesus was smooth, he assisted us with everything we needed and even arranged a tour of the islands. Both he and his mother were extremely attentive, and we were sad to leave.
