The spot is fantastic—just a short walk to the Colosseum and good restaurants. The breakfast was very good, better than what you'd find in the States, and the staff were friendly and English‑speaking. The rooms were clean but small, as expected for a boutique hotel, so bring your own tissues and lotions.

The new rooms on the old fourth floor across from Santa Maria Maggiore were gorgeous, and the hotel’s location puts you close to many of Rome’s key sights. The air‑conditioning was one of the best I’ve experienced—so quiet and cool, especially in late September when temperatures hit the mid‑80s. Breakfast was a DIY affair but delicious and easy to prepare. The rooms are compact and the beds a bit shorter than some, yet still very comfortable, and the windows open to lovely views.

I had a very pleasant stay thanks to the helpful staff. The breakfast was incredibly complete, and the location is wonderful. Having stayed here before, I’m thrilled to have returned.

The hotel is well‑located and the staff are friendly, but the room equipment is truly outdated. A table or desk with power outlets is essential these days for laptops, cameras, phones, chargers, etc.
