The location is very convenient, near the train and bus stations. Breakfast options are small but nice. I didn’t get any pre‑arrival instructions and had to call to learn how to access the B&B, as it’s unstaffed. Once I had the info, getting into my room was easy. The room smelled quite musty and damp when I arrived, but opening the window and running the AC in the evening helped. However, because I had to keep the window open to ventilate, I was bitten by many mosquitoes at night. The bed was extremely soft—too soft, giving no support.

“Schönes Zimmer”

A bright room with a balcony, and a small communal kitchen stocked with everything you need. The room can be opened with a card, which is handy. The location is central, close to the old town, the train station, the bus station, and even the little beach at the harbor. The Wi‑Fi setup was a hassle – I had to enter the code six times (and I didn’t mistype it), yet the connection only worked sporadically.

The place is fairly central and the host is friendly. Free coffee service comes with yogurt, cookies, and rusks. However, the building sits on a busy intersection, so the noise level is high, and the mattress was completely sagging.

“Comfortable bed, but major issues with noise, air quality, and amenities”

The location was good, the bed was comfortable, and having a washing machine in the apartment was very convenient. The apartment was noisy because a thin door opened straight onto the street, letting in all the traffic noise – earplugs are a must if you want to sleep. The air quality was poor due to a broken exhaust fan, no windows to open, and no safe night airflow. Moreover, there was no Wi‑Fi, no toaster (despite the listing), no flat surfaces or tables for personal items, and the wardrobe had no shelves or hangers.

Si quieres un alojamiento cerca del tren y autobuses este es un alojamiento que permite llegar a Ortigia con agradable paseo de 20 minutos . Cerca tienes una panadería -rosticeria muy económico . Tienes acceso a una pequeña cocina donde puedes tomarte algo caliente. Quizás las escaleras pero son pocas y cómodas
