Avoca House sits in a quiet neighbourhood near the Botanic Garden, about 4 km from Dublin’s city centre and reachable by bus in 10 minutes. The room was very spacious, the whole property is tastefully furnished and full of details, and the owners are very kind and helpful.
Ein wirklich süßes B&B mit toller Einrichtung in den Zimmern und im Frühstücksraum. Inklusive furchtbar süßem Dackel. Die Lage ist okay, in die Innenstadt braucht man mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ca. 1 Stunde. Wir mussten früh zum Flughafen, dafür war es optimal, mit dem Auto sind es hier nur ca. 20 Minuten

Eigentlich alles!. Leider kein typisches irisches Frühstück mit Bacon und Eggs sondern SB mit Kühlschrank, was auch ok ist und vom geschmackvollen Haus wettgemacht wird
I stayed at Avoca House and it was a delight – the host welcomed me warmly and the place itself was superb. The continental breakfast was a treat: fresh fruit salad, cheeses, a range of good‑quality yogurts and homemade jams, plus breads, pastries and cereals, so I never felt hungry. I met other friendly guests from Chicago, Toronto and the UK, and I’d definitely return when I go back to Dublin. 😊💚
The welcome was very friendly, and the staff gave excellent recommendations for day trips and pubs. The room was cosy with a very comfortable bed, the breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. The connections to both the centre and the airport were good, and overall we were satisfied.
