Hearty breakfast. Nice people. The only downside was the traffic street right by the window, so we ate out in the evenings.

Friendly staff, even though we arrived at night, it wasn’t a problem (traffic caused a 6‑hour delay on our 1000‑km route). The lady waited specifically for us. The next evening, when we couldn’t find an open restaurant, we were served delicious toast. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the surroundings were very pretty.

The village of Strassburg is a gem and worth a visit. The guest house is a traditional village inn. The staff are very nice. The bedroom is a good size, with a comfortable bed, good bedding and towels, a very good shower room, and Room 2 has an amazing view toward the castle. Breakfast is excellent and includes meats from the award‑winning butchers that you simply can’t miss. The room fridge was handy for storing the excellent meat products we bought! On our second night, evening food was not available, but the Herrenhaus across the road also has excellent food.
