“A wonderful place to relax and enjoy peace and quiet, thoroughly recommend.”

The place had everything: great location, peace and quiet, welcoming owners, meticulous attention to detail, beautifully furnished and comfortable rooms that offered great value; the owners let us treat the gîte as our own and genuinely cared about us. On my birthday, Ruud brought me a drink, which was lovely, and he also took my husband and his dog for a walk around the area. Breakfast was simply delicious, and we enjoyed our two‑night stay! The only downside was that we couldn’t extend our stay.

We were greeted warmly by Hetty, the place is very charming, impeccably maintained and quiet. Special shout‑out for the super comfy bedding and the little outdoor touches planned for each room. One thing to note: the exterior door is original and lets in a bit of daylight and air, so you might want to pack your suitcase accordingly or consider a thicker, blackout curtain right at the door.

Everything was very well taken care of, including fruit, homemade juice, jam, and honey. The access road is a bit narrow, but that doesn’t take away from the lovely location, which is also outside Hetty’s and Ruud’s control.
