I was pleasantly surprised to get a double room when I had booked a single. The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions. A real bonus was being able to do laundry while staying at the Grange. Breakfast was superb with many options. It would have been nice to have someone at the hotel upon arrival. I know it was early, but I was asked how I was arriving, so the staff knew it was by ferry and therefore it would be early.

The staff were lovely, breakfast good, and the secluded sunny pool was great. It's a bit out of town at the top of a big hill, so the climb back home is steep. But we're in our 70s, so be gentle for younger guests.

The staff were terrific, couldn’t have been more helpful. Very comfortable, bar/restaurant on site, heated pool, bus just up the street, interesting history. Not like I didn’t know this, a bit of a walk from downtown but as mentioned on a very regular bus service. Some more variety of breakfast options would have been nice
