it was great to be in the historic centre of Parimaribo and to stay in an authentic colonial building. The room and public areas were furnished with Suriname pictures and objects. The pool was great. The kitchen was very handy and we used it often. We chose a room without air conditioning. The twin room had two pedestal fans which made all the difference. It was great having a shower, toilet and basin in your room. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Joanna. We wish her and her little daughter much happiness

I loved everything – the place is beautiful, cozy, and peaceful; the staff are incredible and I felt right at home, so I’d definitely return.
