It was just what I wanted: a cozy pub that feels local, with chatty regulars, a superb dinner, a comfy bed, and a chance to head out in the morning. Unfortunately, the Wi‑Fi was dead and there was no phone signal, so I had to walk down the road to get enough reception to pay for my dinner.

The room was modern, the food good, and the staff friendly.

The food was excellent and the room was well equipped and cozy, staff were friendly. The drinks tray hadn't been replaced and the glasses were dirty, but that wasn't urgent. Both draft ales were gone, which was a shame; the first was swapped without question, but the second was not, so I didn't drink it.

The beds were comfortable, food and drinks were good, staff were friendly, and the location was quiet. There were no breakfast options.

A really lovely place. A 16th century coaching inn - very charming. The room was small but the bed was hugely comfy and the shower top-notch The lady who owns the pub was amazing. Friendly and welcoming The pub itself has a great menu - absolutely delicious. Absolutely recommend
