The rental was old and evocative with an incredible garden that felt like a castle. Breakfast was great. The owners were very kind and helpful, and parking was included. The location is perfect for visiting the Loire castles.

We spent three nights and truly enjoyed them. Our room faced the gardens, but we couldn’t fully appreciate the view or hear the birds because of the intense heat – 30/40 °C one day. The AC worked well and kept the room cool. The gardens are beautiful, and the host and his cousin were very welcoming, joined us for breakfast each day, and shared stories about the Priory, the church, the gardens, and the local area. It’s an excellent base for visiting Blois and Chaumont. Five stars. David and Wilma

The room was comfortable, and with France being so hot this year the place had air conditioning, so sleeping at night was especially good. It’s already fantastic.
