We had a truly beautiful stay; it was clean and in a lovely location with a stunning view. George welcomed us warmly, was very hospitable and helpful, and understood when I asked if he could let me know when he would go to the main house so I could enjoy the pool without my headscarf. He fully accommodated that, which was very nice. I would definitely recommend this stay and plan to come back.

This place in Cape Town is a gem. The terrace with the pool is spectacular, whether you swim or not, offering sweeping views of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head, sun loungers, and a big table for breakfast or dinner. It’s within walking distance of Kloof Street, and parking is available just outside the property. Elisabeth and George were very welcoming and attentive, and I’ll definitely return.

It was amazing to have such a beautiful spot with a private pool and stunning views. The space turned out larger than I expected and was spotlessly clean. If you want, you can pay to have your laundry done. The Table Mountain is just around the corner, and from the pool you can see the cable car. It offers a great angle to other sights. A tip for a restaurant: the Black Sheep on Kloof Street, especially the Kudu and springbok. George set up the sunbeds and stocked the kitchen with basics. Absolutely a must‑visit. The shower was a bit small, and I would have liked breakfast, but cooking in the kitchenette works fine.

The view was incredible, and it was just a 10 to 20‑minute walk to a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, and local shops. George was absolutely lovely, helpful, and always there when needed. Animal lovers will appreciate the two adorable, well‑behaved dogs that greet you at the gate. During those chilly nights, they offered a heated bed/blanket inside the mattress to keep you warm. The shower was the best – spacious, well designed, and stayed hot. The only downside was that the mattress was too soft for my back.

The guesthouse truly surpassed our expectations – the rooms were beautifully decorated, the views were breathtaking, and we enjoyed complete privacy with the pool just for us. We had a late flight, and George and Elizabeth were happy to let us check out in the evening. We were always met with immense kindness and joy. Definitely coming back.
