Un petit havre de paix paradisiaque, au milieu de rien, aux pieds des montagnes, une parenthèse qui fait du bien. Une cuisine excellente, une cave à vin qui donne envie . bref nous avons été plus qu’enchantés de découvrir cet endroit ! Une classe sans chichi, un art de vivre autour de la table et du "prendre le temps". 2 nuits c’etaient trop court!. Les 35 derniers km de route, mais un moment hors du temps comme celui-ci, ça se mérite !

We stayed at the River Run self‑catering cottage and it was a lovely escape—quiet, remote, surrounded by nature with beautiful views, even though the weather was bad. The food was excellent, and the place is close to Highmoor National Park for hiking. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful nature stay. The downside is the road to the cottage is awful, full of potholes instead of a paved road (not the cottage’s fault). If you’re self‑catering, be sure to shop for groceries in town because the drive is long and the road is rough.

The location is gorgeous, though the drive there isn’t easy. The rooms are cozy with comfy seating areas. Dinner and breakfast were good. The dinner service felt a bit stiff; the food was tasty but the concept might be a bit dated.

The location was amazing, the property awesome, the food fantastic, and the staff very friendly; I loved it and would recommend it to anyone. No negatives, it was amazing.
