“Hotel scarso, non lo consiglierei”

The only nice thing was the patio with its central fountain, typical of houses in the area. We chose this place because it was listed among the recommended hotels by a famous international guide, but it was disappointing in every way: the room was shabby and too small for four people, the bathroom was poor, breakfast was meager and took an extremely long time to prepare, no one spoke English, and the guide’s authors seemed to have misunderstood what they were seeing.

The vibe was comfortable—being off season, the hotel wasn’t bustling, but the staff were friendly and attentive. There was some construction visible in the courtyard that looked a bit of an eyesore, but since it was January and the place was quieter, it didn’t feel unreasonable.

“🥹nu doresc nimănui”

I was impressed by the clean bedding, fresh towels, and a comfortable mattress. However, after returning from the city we were moved to another room because the bathroom in our original room flooded when we used the toilet. The new room was dirty, barely warmed up until the morning – I slept in sweatpants and a hoodie – and only had a renovated bathroom; everything else looked awful. Even though we booked two nights, we left after the first night and lost the money because they charged our card. I’m attaching photos of both rooms.
