For a budget property, the staff were wonderful and the room was immaculate; I was very impressed and would definitely return. The mattress was a little soft—just a personal preference.

We needed a motel for a single night after a local wedding, without paying for the whole weekend. From that angle, the Whittier Motel was perfect. There was nothing we didn't like; it met our expectations for location, cleanliness, and convenience. We weren't looking for a Hyatt, we just wanted a queen‑size bed.

I liked the location and the shower was great, and Jake’s restaurant nearby served a very good meal, but the bed was as hard as a rock, so I definitely didn’t get a good night’s sleep.

The property was convenient to every place we visited and the room was clean, yet it was small and the bathroom only had a tiny shower, with no bathtub at all.
