The staff were very friendly, especially Sandra who was a real star, and the chef cooked delicious meals. Paying was easy with a credit card or bank card. However, the breakfast selection seemed very limited to me, and sometimes it was hard to order anything else. The minibar didn’t really keep items cold.

My parents and I spent two weeks at the Cabyn, and the staff—from kitchen to reception to management—made the stay feel extra special. They were helpful and courteous in every way, and the family suite worked perfectly for us and offered good value. The food was nice, well‑cooked, and plentiful. My only issue is that the hotel’s location outside the main city center is convenient for those wanting to avoid the busy chaos, and there are transport options to get there. The staff can guide you on the best travel routes, though I’d recommend using Yango or Uber instead of the buses. Overall, it’s a very nice place to stay. I only have one dislike: after two weeks, the complimentary breakfast became routine because the choice was limited. It’s also important that the hotel doesn’t mislead guests with its photos, as some items weren’t actually included in the breakfast, and when we asked for bacon (as shown in their pictures) we were charged an exorbitant amount. Though the food was exceptionally good, the main meals—especially the traditional dishes—had a lot of pepper, which could be toned down for different palates. Guests with mobility issues should note the lack of a lift and request a ground‑floor room if possible. I had no hot water in my bathroom, and even though the temperature in Ghana can be warm, not everyone is happy to shower with cold water. I ended up using the bathroom in my parents’ room, which wasn’t ideal.

The breakfast was good, but more variety would be appreciated, like yogurt with fruit. I didn’t like that a water bottle wasn’t provided in the room every day. I booked for 1–8 June 2026, and I also didn’t like how the staff handled payment at check‑in; it felt rude. Remember that guests have often traveled for more than 10 hours and may feel tired.

The service was very friendly and helpful, with staff ready to arrange cab service, and the location is good but quiet. It’s a bit far from local shops and restaurants.
