The yurt was absolutely stunning, with great facilities and very friendly owners. The location is perfect for stargazing, and the toilets are the best I’ve ever seen at a campsite. The log burner was lovely, but I had to remember that it can get very cold at night when temperatures drop below zero, so we were well prepared and it was fine.

The location is great, and the yurt feels even better when you’re inside. The pictures don’t do it justice, and the staff are friendly—well worth a visit.

I didn’t meet the staff, but that was nice because I wasn’t being looked over. The site is very far from everything, which isn’t a problem for my companions but I would have liked closer amenities. It was an amazing escape from it all.
