The welcome was perfect, with courteous and professional staff. The breakfast featured homemade cakes. The hotel lacks an elevator, so carrying luggage to the second floor is a bit inconvenient, but it’s a building with a heritage restriction.

The staff were very kind and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, our stay wasn’t very restful because street noise from poorly insulated windows, a squeaky mattress, and mosquitoes in the room made the night difficult, especially since we were traveling with a baby.

The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. The beds were excellent and the nights were quiet. A handy feature was a room where you could fetch drinks yourself (you even noticed the cold ones!) and pay when you left the hotel. The breakfast was superb, and gluten‑free options were available. A nearby restaurant, Made in Sud, offered gluten‑free pizza. We would have liked to stay longer. The outdoor pool was closed because we were told the hotel had a wedding coming up. The room was a bit awkward on the upper floor, but fortunately it wasn’t a large suitcase.

A palace that feels wonderfully decorated with impeccable taste, a breakfast that is very varied and delicious, staff who are extremely kind and helpful, and a stunning room – a classic example of Italian hospitality excellence. Nothing negative.
