The only redeeming factor is its central location. The conditions were catastrophic and there was no service at all. I am utterly disappointed. No apology was offered, nor was there any attempt to remedy the situation—definitely a no‑go for me. The hygiene was shocking: blood on the ceiling, grime everywhere, mold, rust on the fixtures, and disgusting dirt and limescale throughout the shower area. No thanks, never again! The low price argument doesn’t hold up here; cleanliness shouldn’t cost anything.

Easy to reach and perfectly positioned to visit the main sights. The large room with shower was clean and pleasant. Thanks to Marco for the welcome. The breakfast was barely enough; a toaster would have been a luxury.

Marco was very helpful with any questions I had during my stay. The place was tidy and comfortable. The common areas could be more comfortable and inviting, so guests could spend time there beyond just having breakfast.

“Lovely and welcoming”

Excellent location, within walking distance of the train/bus station and into Ortigia. The room was nice, the bed comfortable, Wi‑Fi was good, and breakfast was basic. Marco the host was very accommodating and helpful, making my stay very pleasant; he even bought me a delicious sweet cake for breakfast on my last day.
