The owners were super welcoming and took the time to show us the local spots, plus they left us tasty biscuits. The only downside was the bed – too narrow and the mattress was too soft for us. Also the staircase to the studio is steep and slippery with luggage, so a handrail would help.

We had two seats in the garden, a well‑equipped kitchen, and the hosts were very friendly. The spot is perfect – a grocery and bakery just a five‑minute walk, and we got around easily by train and bus. The nearby trails are lovely too.

The place has a kitchenette and no meals, but the hosts left plenty of goodies – high‑quality spices, vinegar, oil, tea, coffee pods, and sweet treats. We were surprised with a delicious pumpkin soup on the first night. The double bed is comfy, the location is quiet, and the guest card gives free public transport, boat rides on the Neuenburger lakes, and museum entries. The only hiccup was the seating, which felt a bit hard, and the reading light was weak.
