Good location. Very bad. Everything in the room is old, the bed is very uncomfortable, the furniture is worn and looks dirty. Leaving the key at reception also feels unsafe. Wifi is very poor.

“Verbesserungsfähiges Hotel”

The hotel is only a few minutes from the city centre and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. However, there is no elevator, making it a bit difficult to bring large luggage. The room is very small and the bed is almost against the front door. The soap dispenser in the bathroom is broken, the hairdryer feels outdated, and breakfast is only minimally equipped and not really recommended. The room still has an old lock with a hard key that must be left at reception when leaving; this system seems questionable from a security standpoint because the keys are displayed on a wall behind the reception and can be seen from the street. Reception is open 24 h, yet during my stay the staff sometimes left the desk for short tasks, leaving the keys unattended. If someone really wanted to break in, it would be easy. Additionally, keys were handed over upon return without asking for the name, which felt insecure.

Nice, smiling, helpful staff. On the other hand, the bed has too little space between it and the wall, there’s a strange smell in the wardrobe, and the room with its bathroom feels slightly outdated, giving a slightly dirty impression overall.

“a pleasant stay with particular emphasis on the location”

The location is very good, you can get everywhere in the old part of the city on foot, and the proximity of the train station and the metro is also a plus. The cleanliness of the room was at an acceptable level.
