“Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Wir kommen aufjeden Fall wieder!”

Breakfast was absolutely sufficient, the location is great and quiet, it’s a family‑friendly hotel, the room had everything you need, and there is a cigarette vending machine at the entrance; the mattresses were unfortunately too soft, and perhaps a coffee machine could be set up in the breakfast area for daytime use (just a small suggestion).

The place looks exactly like the photos and is really tidy! The décor is dated, but the bathroom has been freshly renovated. The bed is comfortable, and the view of the castle is stunning. The surroundings are lovely. The note at check‑in about breakfast felt a bit unfriendly, and the lift only operates during the day. The reception area and foyer were a bit messy. The “no smoking” signs are everywhere, yet there’s a faint smell of smoke. Towels feel very old and thin, almost like sandpaper. Everything else is clean. A good idea would be to put a mirror near the exit; it’s always risky when you’re leaving.

“Mittelmäßiges Hotel”

The location is very central, just 500 m from the castles. The breakfast could use some improvement – there’s no buffet. There’s also no dedicated spot to store and charge battery‑powered bikes.

The spot is perfect for cyclists and hikers – quiet, green, yet everything is quickly reachable. Restaurants, pizzerias, and a REWE are only a few minutes away. The view of Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein is a real highlight. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good, making the stay complete. A small suggestion: a lockable bike room for bicycles and e‑bikes would be welcome. The bikes are already sheltered from the weather, but extra theft protection would boost comfort for bike travellers.
