As golfers, we were happy with the short walk to the club house and the course. But we booked a room that was a bit too warm, facing south‑west and lacking air‑conditioning, even though the hotel wasn’t fully booked.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, the location is gorgeous, and the food was fantastic. The only let‑down was that there was no Jacuzzi, which is odd for a spa hotel.

The hotel was comfortable and the staff were welcoming, but the breakfast felt more like a hostel – just bread, butter, cheese, and cold sausage. Extra options weren’t mentioned until we asked, and we could only get a soft or fried egg on request. It doesn’t compare to other first‑class hotels.
