“Excellent”
A great place, good price, good people, nice and out of the way but close enough to Lamai. Loved it all.

Etc. Pour 27 jours j'ai payé en arrivant 42.500 Baths soit 1276,66 € somme excessive !!

The staff were really helpful and tried to assist where they could. They moved us to a different apartment that was slightly better. Several apartments we looked at seemed quite dated and basic and not as described, each missing some of the advertised facilities. Noisy neighbours on both sides stayed up until early hours on the nights we stayed. There were cockroaches in the bathroom.

I’m a fan of a rock‑hard mattress, so that part was fine, but if you’re allergic to cats you’ll be disappointed. The photos and description of the facilities were wildly misleading. I had visited the place before booking to confirm the location and was hoping for a quiet spot where I could self‑cater. A lady waved at me and pointed out the villas shown on the website, quoting a price. I ended up paying more for a dump that I received. Those villas that looked nice in the pictures were actually occupied by people who seemed to be the owners – a lady who checked me in and then vanished for two days, and some male workers. So the villas shown on the site aren’t really available. Their website claims mountain, garden or sea views, but I booked a garden view villa and only saw two concrete walls on either side of a road leading to a barren plot with a parked car. Terrible. The kitchenette had one big frying pan, no pots, no bowls, three side plates, one large plate, two cups, one mug, all mismatched, random spoons and forks, and one small blunt knife. So the idea that I could cook my own meals was a lie. The isolation became an issue because no daily drinking water was provided. After a hot day and a half‑hour uphill walk home, I had nothing to drink. I texted the staff, “sorry, staff not there, I’ll tell,” walked back down for 20 minutes to a store, bought water and microwave meals, and returned with water. A packet of dusty water bottles appeared on my verandah much later. The doors on the furniture were broken. The bathroom was an old, unpainted, cracked concrete space and the water‑damaged plywood door had splintered, with chunks broken off. The splinters were all over the bathroom floor. When I turned on the basin tap, water leaked onto my feet. Nobody was around. Don’t stay there. Toiletries were just two mini bottles of shampoo and no soap.
