I was pleased with the very friendly and sensible attitude of the lady, but the gentleman’s behavior was unacceptable; he tried to force me to pay for a fishing line and a lantern to sit quietly on the canal, even though I offered to pay or donate the caught fish. The fish tasted bitter, and overall the place seemed to host only acquaintances and relatives, making me feel like an outsider. It was rude not to appreciate a tourist who made the effort to reach you. I didn’t pay, stayed only about 2 hours, and was harassed. Don’t go— the route is a nightmare! If you’re unlucky enough to be charged for a single fishing line, it’s even worse. I left without regret. Shame that they didn’t even ask if I wanted coffee after that nightmare trip.

“Unübertroffene Gastfreundlichkeit, hervorragend”

Right on the Danube, the last spot still reachable on foot, Ákos knows everyone there. Everything was excellent, very friendly, helpful, with great dinner and breakfast. The hosts are unmatched in friendliness. They even called us beforehand to confirm our arrival. Even though we couldn’t be online during the trip, everything worked out smoothly. Finally, Ákos took us on a long tour of the Delta and drove us to the next spot in Crisan. Thank you.

Very friendly host and usually generous. Tourists should be warned about the difficulties in reaching the destination and that a ferry is required.
