The location is great, only a few minutes’ walk from Freedom Square, and the vibe of Old Tbilisi is strong. The room was spotless and tidy, and I definitely recommend it.

The spot’s spot‑on, the room was comfy, the staff kept in touch, and breakfast was solid. The only hiccup was a scramble for buns at the buffet – it should kick off before 8 am and a second coffee machine would help.

The hotel’s spot in the old town is great for first‑time visitors, though the rooms vary: we started in an older fourth‑floor room that smelled of sewage, then moved to a better fifth‑floor room; it’s a four‑star property but falls short of international standards, with the owner apparently cutting staff costs. The breakfast restaurant is tiny, run by only three people who cook, clear tables and wash dishes by hand, and twice we couldn’t eat because supplies ran out, leaving three women scrambling without understanding the crowd surge. The reception staff are friendly young men who try to help, but the entrance is unremarkable, the little courtyard allows smoking, and balconies have no designated smoking area.
