Hotel Starry Night

We stopped over for one night; the price was relatively low yet the hotel was excellent. The room was clean, the bedding superb, the blankets warm, and the bathroom superb. The host was very friendly. The only downside was the lack of cafés and shops nearby; there is a small shop but its selection is limited. That wasn’t a deal‑breaker for us, so we don’t count it as a flaw, though it’s better to bring what you need if you’re in a pinch.

We were warmly welcomed. The hotel sits in a quiet village where not much happens, but everything is easily reachable by car. The kitchen is well equipped and there’s a large shared living room, which is really great. We were there on a rainy day, played games, read, and warmed up a bit; in the evening we were treated to a fire in the fireplace.

The room was clean and the common area with a fireplace was very cozy. The bathroom’s drain barely worked, leaving water on the floor, and water dripped from a hose near the toilet, also pooling on the floor. The kitchen was frankly dirty, and the room was very cold.

I liked the location – away from the beaten paths :) and close to the mountains. It’s very convenient for going out for walks. What surprised me most was the Georgian hospitality! When we returned from the mountains in the evening under rain, it was exactly what we needed. :)
