The hotel sits in a great spot and the lobby looks beautiful, but we arrived at 3 pm for check‑in and were told no rooms were ready, so we had to wait with about 15 other guests for a room to be cleaned. We spent more than an hour and a half in the lobby, and the only front‑desk staff member was busy texting on his cell phone to get any room information.

They over‑booked and we couldn’t stay. We had booked a room with two beds, but they tried to put us in a single‑bed room that already had clothes in it and other people still occupying it.

We didn't stay. We arrived at 5 pm. They hadn't contacted us to let us know that our room was not available. Flood victims still occupied the space. which they had to have known before we got there. We were redirected to a Residence Inn about 15 miles away. The Residence Inn was brand new and very impressive. We had a 3 room suite. Salt water pool. Excellent breakfast

The facility was clean and comfy, but the kitchen was never open from check‑in to check‑out, and the staff seemed uncertain about breakfast times; breakfast should have been included in the room price.
