“Our favourite B&B by far!”

Jackie and Keith welcomed us warmly and were incredibly helpful, making the rooms comfortable and well equipped; the location was superb, the breakfast fantastic, and overall it was the best B&B we visited on our Scotland tour – nothing to complain about.

“Very nice stay, comfortable accomodations.”

The place was conveniently located and the staff were very friendly and helpful; I loved the bathtub, though a grab bar would have made it safer for me to exit; the stairs and suitcases were a bit of a hassle.

“Mehrere Nächte würden wir nicht mehr buchen.”

We were greeted kindly and the breakfast was acceptable; we stayed in room “Lewis” on the ground floor, but the garden view actually faced the parking lot in front of the house; we had to cut our stay short for urgent reasons and told the hosts we would leave very early at 5:00 am; on the day of departure there was no hot water for showers, the bed was never made and the trash bin was not emptied daily, unlike all our previous stays; because the room was styled like a country house, the bathroom door could only be slid shut, letting the smells spread into the room; we could hear anyone going upstairs, and the heating was only on intermittently.

The cleaning was thorough, the owners were courteous, the breakfast excellent, and the location perfect for the area – no complaints.
