The staff were friendly when I finally located them, but I had to find a way to get someone to check me in. All the office doors were locked. I found used Q‑tips on the shelf above the clothes bar. There was food in the microwave, and Wi‑Fi was almost nonexistent in my room.

It was a place to stay, but after taxes and fees—including a surprise $15 pet fee for each of my two dogs at check‑in—my total exceeded $150, which was not worth it. We arrived around 2:50 pm for check‑in and no one was around; all the office doors were locked. Even after 3 pm no one showed up, so we waited another 20 minutes before finally calling the hotel to get someone to check us in. Our room was supposed to be non‑smoking but smelled like cigarette smoke; the shower didn’t work, was very dirty with dirt and someone else’s hair, and didn’t drain. They offered to fix the shower but wanted to come in while we weren’t there, which wouldn’t work because our dogs were in the room and we were already almost late to our event due to the delayed check‑in. The sink had hair in it. Our coffee pot was dirty with old coffee grounds and wasn’t even rinsed from the last guest; the mini‑fridge was the same, dirty with food crumbs and dirt. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were flat, thin, and smelled like cigarette smoke, and our thin comforter had a burn hole. For spending $150 I am extremely disappointed, angry, and will never stay here again. I wanted to ask for another room, but once we got back to the hotel, no one was in the office, and we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. I’m not a rich person by any means and regret spending that much money for one night. The hotels in town were cheaper and included free breakfast and other amenities, so I will book ahead next year and choose elsewhere!
