At Citraland the AC was dirty! I cleaned the filter myself, you can hear people talking/walking from other rooms, shower water pressure is so low.

I paid a reasonable rate for a single night, the staff were friendly, the hotel sits just a stone’s throw from the embassy, and it’s easy to spot a nearby eatery.

The spot is convenient and the building looks fine, but the fridge is so loud we couldn’t sleep; the AC only kicks in when you swipe the key card, so you’re left waiting 20–40 minutes for the room to cool; the window actually faces a wall so there’s no view, and the air smells stale for reasons I can’t explain. We arrived three hours early and were asked to pay an extra $10 for early check‑in—nothing huge, but I didn’t expect a fee for that. Apple Pay isn’t accepted—only plastic cards or cash work.
