I liked the location, the room area, and the cleanliness. I didn’t like the lack of signage at the hotel reception for check‑in, which left me confused and made me worry I might be a victim of a scam. I was also unpleasantly surprised that breakfast access was through the street (luckily it wasn’t raining) and that the noise from a motorcycle garage on the ground floor was disturbing. As for breakfast, it fell short of expectations in both quantity and quality, and it was very disorganised. There was no pre‑check, and guests were served on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Tables were all up, there was no washed crockery or cutlery, and food was replenished very slowly, often insufficiently. For example, only 3 or 4 croissants were placed while I was there, and the bread wasn’t fresh.

The mattress was comfortable, the location is spectacular for walking, parking is available, and there’s a pool. The common entrance doors sometimes wouldn’t open even with the correct code, the shared wooden stairwell made a lot of noise, and the room acoustic isolation was lacking.
