“Lovely, quiet location to get away from the city, and private onsen to enjoy as a couple.”

Quiet peaceful place for going offline. (That doesn't mean you don't get signals on your phone though) Staff are so nice and helpful. If we are nitpicking, there could be more variety in food. This may only apply for us (we stayed 3 nights). By the 3rd night of grilling my own meat and hotpot (shabu shabu/sukiyaki), my palette was craving a different texture. But no fault on the hotel, we should not have stayed 3 nights. To be clear the food is really good

“Tasty and quality meal!”

The staff offered thoughtful service: noticing an elderly traveler, they promptly provided a higher chair for comfort, and English‑speaking staff were very helpful. Portions were generous and every dish tasted good, so we’d love to return. The only downside was that the on‑site public bath was indoor only; there is an outdoor public bath across the street.

“Value for Money! Very relaxing Ryokan!”

The hotel's beautiful garden and relaxing Onsen were absolute highlights. I loved unwinding in the peaceful surroundings, and the dinners were consistently impressive. The staff were incredibly helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure our stay was smooth. However, I did struggle with the weak Wi-Fi at times, and the Tatami Bed wasn't the most comfortable for me - the design made it a bit of a challenge to get up and down.
