The valley views were stunning, and we loved our private onsen—its size and temperature were perfect. The room was spacious with a comfy futon. Kaiseki meals and breakfast were fantastic, and the public onsen was clean and very hot. Walking to Jikugodani was easy. However, the décor feels a bit worn in spots—scuffed walls, a torn painting, and the sulfur water erodes the onsen wood, which contrasts sharply with the lobby’s beauty.

We had a wonderful traditional experience and the best onsen in Hokkaido. Spending time together as a family was precious, and the surrounding nature felt like a movie set, especially the Anthem Leaves. Every spot was close and simple yet rich. Thank you for the support and hospitality.

A relaxing ryokan with great facilities and excellent food—both the kaiseki dinner and breakfast were good, though the dinner could have been more filling. The hot springs were lovely. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s an experience.

The traditional room was spacious and clean, and I thoroughly enjoyed my private onsen. The food was tasty, made from local ingredients, and both dinner and breakfast were included. It’s close to the main part of town, so you don’t need to walk far for restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were no negatives.
