The villa was magnificent and atmospheric; we were lucky to have the entire house for our group of eight. The only downside was the busy road outside, which caused some noise when we were on the terrace.

Breakfast started at 8:00, which was too late for travelers, and I’m not sure why it was so delayed. Outside, the smell was nauseating, the stairs were hard to navigate, and the railing at the top made it easy to fall when going downstairs.

The place is close to the local college, the owner is friendly, and everything is very clean. The outdoor porches were nice, but rain kept us from enjoying them. Coffee and tea were available all day and night. Breakfast could have been better—B&Bs usually offer a hot meal. There was no cold water to refill bottles, and the bed was too soft.

Breakfast was delicious, and Kenneth was very gracious, welcoming, and just the right amount of engaging. The beds were very comfortable. There was nothing negative, only that we wished for more time to relax at the house.
