Hanoi Ancient Paradise Hotel

If your goal is to experience the Old Quarter, the location is unbeatable. Staying on Hang Chieu kept us surrounded by local life instead of a generic hotel area. Dong Xuan Market was very close, and there were plenty of food stalls and small restaurants on the nearby streets. We enjoyed walking around and discovering places without a plan, and after busy days outside it was nice to return to a warm, relaxing hotel.

The location lets me stroll to restaurants, markets, and the main Old Quarter streets without needing transport each time I want to go somewhere. The staff are friendly yet not overbearing, and I could ask them for recommendations whenever I needed. The hotel’s warm Indochine vibe makes it feel more personal than a typical chain.

For us, the main advantage of this hotel is undoubtedly its excellent value for money. As a three‑star hotel, we didn’t expect a luxurious experience, but everything – location, room selection, breakfast, and service quality – far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is in a very central part of the Old Quarter, which saved us a lot of time on our travels. We could reach many places on foot, which was very convenient for exploring the city. The staff pleasantly surprised us with their attentiveness and availability, especially for a hotel in this price range. We were always welcomed and received help when we needed it. Of course, a few small details could still be improved, but nothing that really affected our stay. Considering the price we paid, we found the experience completely satisfactory. Overall, it was a very reasonable choice for discovering Hanoi without breaking our budget.
