“Regulin regulan”
The price, the location, and the free parking were positives. The facilities were outdated, old, the air conditioning didn't work in August, the minibar was missing, and the Wi‑Fi was poor.

The location, the courtesy of the staff, and the room overall were good. The carpet cleaning and some toilet details could have been more thorough, and two towels should be provided per person without needing an explicit request.

I stayed at Antik Otel while touring on my motorcycle and the experience was very positive; the location is a major advantage – the Castle of Ankara is just a short walk away, as are the most interesting parts of the historic district, making it a perfect base without needing a vehicle. The staff were always friendly, helpful and attentive, and from the moment I arrived I felt warmly welcomed. As a motorcyclist I especially appreciated how carefully my bike was handled and secured, which added huge value to the stay. The room was clean, the ambience pleasant, and the hospitality excellent – if I ever return to Ankara I will definitely consider this place.

It’s close to the Cittadella and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations. The first‑floor room had various street noises; the finishes were rather neglected.
The hotel is close to the castle, so you can walk there, but we couldn't stay because the carpet, bedding and bathrooms smelled awful; we felt we would get sick from the odor. Even after asking for a room change the same unbearable smell persisted, forcing us to leave and book another place, meaning we paid twice for one night and lost money. We tried to get a refund through Booking, but we couldn't recover our money.
