The staff were wonderful, helpful, and warm; even when busy they stayed polite and courteous, creating a lovely atmosphere. The ensuite bathroom was beautifully modern, the bedroom was spacious, and there was a generous selection of hot drinks and biscuits. The food was superb, and the owner/manager was fantastic.

The greeting was friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and there was nothing we didn’t like.

It was a great place for a short stay; I loved the pub and the village, and breakfast was fab. I was on the bottom floor and my window faced the beer garden, so I didn’t feel entirely secure with the window open, but it wasn’t too busy.
