The room was spacious. The barn area was nice, and the pool area was good. A boarded‑up window with a portable air conditioner held in place by duct tape was a problem, and the driveway and exterior need improvement.

The room was spotless, and the front desk staff were both friendly and professional, but the portable air conditioner was a real let‑down.

We enjoyed a solid breakfast featuring a standard waffle machine, scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes, along with juices and coffee; the extended hours from 6am to 10am were a plus, and the bar offered a decent happy hour between 1pm and 7pm with reasonably priced drinks and snacks, though the main eatery felt a bit pricey. Unfortunately, the room’s heating and A/C were non‑functional—set at 61 °F and unchangeable—so we received a portable heater that did little; the unit was repaired only on the penultimate day. The room itself felt dated and could use a makeover; mold had begun to grow in the tub, and some bathroom fixtures were hanging loose from the wall. Hot water arrived promptly, but the shower could use an anti‑slip mat—perhaps someone had slipped and grabbed the wall fixture.

The staff were friendly and tried their best to accommodate us, but the first room we received had a broken AC and the temperature hovered in the upper 80s, around 79 °F. Since they couldn’t fix it, they moved us to a new room, which unfortunately had mold all over the ceiling right next to the window. We ended up requesting a refund and left, knowing that another family staying at the same hotel at the same time also had mold in their bathtub.
