The place is in a fantastic spot, right near the Old Town, shops, bars, and restaurants, and the room was super comfy with a view over the Rhine and a nice lounge area for coffee, but the staff were often absent from reception and there was no bell to call for service; also, the proximity to nightlife can make it noisy at night, which didn't bother me at all, but if you need absolute silence it might be an issue.

This charming hotel is in a great location, the reception was relaxed and friendly, the room was well maintained and spotless, the bed was cozy, and overall it was very comfortable, yet it was quite cold inside, the heating was cranked up but barely warmed the space, and the sheets and towels smelled faintly of cold smoke, which was a strong negative for me as a non‑smoker.
