The host was friendly and the place was quiet, and the kitchen gear was really handy. The only downside was that cats kept wandering into the cooking area, so you couldn't leave anything unattended. When we arrived the TV wouldn't work because it was missing an HDMI cable, but Marianela fixed it quickly.

The room was simple but delivered exactly what it promised, and even though breakfast wasn't offered, all the basic comforts were there. The owner was pleasant and the whole booking process was a breeze. The house sits in a quiet, family‑friendly neighborhood and is conveniently located.

The spot felt dark and damp, tucked among local buildings, and the locks didn't work well. The rooms were small, smelled of mildew and looked a bit chaotic, although the bathroom was clean. It's close to the port heading toward Puntarenas, but the price is high compared to nicer areas.

The landlady was genuinely warm and always ready to help whenever we needed something. We felt well taken care of throughout the stay.
