The rooms were spacious, parking was convenient, and breakfast was fine except for the gravy. My only gripe was the lack of sound insulation between floors: the first room had a lady above me stomping all day and night, and after moving rooms I could still hear people walking and shutting doors early in the morning. It wasn’t as bad as the first room, but it was noticeable.

The bed was comfortable, yet the carpet was dirty, and the room only had one bath towel and two washcloths despite having two queen beds. The bathroom mirror turned itself off, feather pillows poked my face, the A/C smelled musky, the air was humid, and the temperature wouldn’t cool. TV options were limited, the coffee pot lacked creamer and sugar, and a disruptive guest in neighboring rooms shouted and played loud music until 3:30 AM, so I only slept 30 minutes before my alarm at 4 AM. Only one ice machine on the ground floor served four floors with no ice bucket, the refrigerator wasn’t cold enough, lobby coffee pots had no coffee, my door keys failed three times after programming, and the area was crowded with homeless people asking for money and food. I had to sleep on the ground near a vehicle close to the street, and there was no bench outside the lobby door.

The AC was off during check‑in, so the room was hot and stuffy until late evening. When we asked for a new room at midnight, the offered second room also had the AC off and smelled musty. We chose to stay in our original room because its AC had been on for a while and was cooler than the new one. It would help if they prepared rooms in advance for guest comfort.

The friendly and helpful staff. The location!! As a woman traveling with a daughter, we did not feel safe arriving after 9:00, especially for the price!!
