Quiet and peaceful, a lovely room with a great bed, good breakfast, and wonderful hosts. Nothing else to note.

The breakfast was excellent, plenty of food for my trip to Christchurch, and the conversation with the hosts was enjoyable—really easy going. I found the bathroom a bit small, but for a single person it was fine. Other than that, I loved it and had no complaints.

The hosts Anne Marie and John greeted us warmly, and the room was charming, private, and had its own entrance. We especially enjoyed the chocolates left in the room and the many extra blankets stored in the cupboard. The property sits on 25 acres of landscaped gardens with deer, yet it’s only 8 minutes from town. It was peaceful, very quiet, and the stars at night were amazing. Breakfast was tasty and the portions were generous. Thanks for a lovely stay.
