“veryyy bad, worst stay in ooty”

NOTHING TRANQVILLE RESORT IS THE WORST Really bad experience at Tranquilla Resort Ooty. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend Tranquilla Resort to anyone visiting Ooty. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and even the owners didn’t bother to sort out any of our problems. We weren’t allowed to use the restroom before check‑in time, like 10 minutes before check‑in. The place looks nice online but in reality it’s a complete fraud and completely different from online; it’s a new‑gen catfishing scam happening in a resort in Ooty called Tranquilla Resort Ooty.

The location, staff and food were excellent. The view from the room and the landscape are unimaginable. All good!

“Good place, bad room.”

The staff was decent, but our room had a spider infestation. Not the small spiders you ignore; big ugly ones. Plus, a pigeon got into our washroom and pooped everywhere. Very unhygienic. I’ve travelled a lot in Garhwal/Uttarakhand and the Western Ghats, and a bit of wildlife is expected, but this is not acceptable. The area was calm and peaceful, but the room ruined my stay. Another thing I noticed was that some guests got a bonfire for free while we didn’t. That’s fine, but I expected better based on what I paid.

“Très calme”

The location is amazing, especially on sunny days (we were in fog). The rooms are comfortable and the restaurant is pleasant. Very quiet. The value for money is a bit off; it feels a bit pricey for what’s offered. There’s no shower gel, only soap. The bath towels look worn and the bathroom could use a deep clean.

“Relaxing Stay with valley view”

The food feels like home and tastes great. No complaints.
