The only thing that mattered was the location. The hotel was dirty, the staff were unmotivated and didn’t understand English. Over the 15 years since my last stay at Ramada, no renovations had been done. Water from the shower ran into the corridor, the shower head was loose and wobbly, lighting was terrible, the window was dirty, the air‑conditioner was very noisy, and the room space for two people was no more than 8 m², including a 2.5 m × 2.5 m area. I asked for a fork and was denied, asked for water and was also refused, told only to get it at check‑in. I mentioned that I would be coming and going daily, but she didn’t understand. I do not recommend it; it’s just a mess for $100 a night.

The location is great, within walking distance of Kowloon City. Breakfast was modest but acceptable. The room was clean and spacious enough. However, the hotel’s best days are behind it; many things are worn, such as doors, wardrobes, and flooring. The mattress was very thin.
