We spent last weekend at Hôtel Amphitrite for my husband’s birthday in an ocean‑view suite; the reception and porter handled our pre‑arrival requests flawlessly, and the maids beautifully decorated the suite for the celebration, which touched us deeply. We also loved the spa, the quality of the services offered, and the pool staff’s warm welcome and availability all weekend. The breakfast team was especially professional, friendly, and very proactive in meeting guests’ requests. However, we were disappointed with the dining and room service, which suffered from communication issues, product shortages, and menu management problems, far below the standard expected of a hotel of this caliber. We also noticed a lack of coordination between the kitchen and the front‑of‑house staff, especially at breakfast, and it would be crucial for the hotel to improve cohesion and service culture so all departments meet the same standards. The room service over the phone was unprofessional, and the kitchen staff failed to adapt to our requests despite the high price of a five‑star hotel.

“A fuir”

We checked in at 15:00 but had to wait until 17:00; the room was dirty and damp, the equipment was old and in very bad condition, truly not worthy of a five‑star rating.

I’ve known this place for 20 years, it fits exactly what I’m looking for, especially the beautiful sea‑view room and the quiet atmosphere.
