The location is outstanding, surrounded by beautifully kept gardens yet close to Guimarães. Maria, the owner, was warm, attentive, and available from start to finish, always ready with good advice and conversation. Breakfast was hearty and of very good quality, featuring tasty local products. A delightful bonus that thrilled the whole family was the farm animals—ducks and a donkey—bringing a touch of authenticity that made the stay unique. Nothing negative to mention; the stay went smoothly without any issues.

Breakfast was lovely, featuring fresh local ingredients. A short drive brought us into Guimares. The location was very peaceful and quiet. Maria welcomed us into her home and made our stay perfect. We stayed in the tower room, which was very spacious. The building is very old and has been in the same family for 600 years. The pool was welcome in the hot weather, and one evening we watched swallows skimming the surface to drink. A magical place to stay. It was all good.
