The location is great – walking distance to almost everything downtown, including the monorail and waterfront. The luggage storage before and after check‑in was handled well. Check‑in felt a bit cold; the breakfast vouchers weren’t handed out and the welcome was minimal. The hotel looks old and rundown; at first you think it’s a bit thoughtful with two small water bottles in the room, but then you notice the price tag: they just charge 5 € ex tax, which feels off. Breakfast was a letdown: no buffet, just à la carte, and you can only pick one of two options from the menu. The staff were quick and friendly, though.

The place was clean, within walking distance of public transport and the waterfront, and the room had a view of the water; the pillows were nice.

The location was great, the atmosphere was nice, and we enjoyed the recorded music in the lobby and outside; the staff were friendly and helpful, and the fitness and pool facilities were good—nothing to complain about.
