Lindos Bay Hotel sits directly on Lindos’ private beachfront, just two minutes from Vlicha Beach and 44 km from Rhodes International Airport. The location, views and hotel room were good, the sunbeds on the beach were fine, the staff were brilliant and lovely and the drinks like Aperol spritz were fab. The breakfast was varied but the quality of the food wasn’t great; the hot food counter didn’t look nice and the hams on the cold meat counter were cheap quality. We were glad we only stayed B&B – that was the only thing that let this hotel down.

The rooms and shared areas were clean. The cleaning times were often after lunch, I would have liked them earlier and the handover sooner.

The location is great, one of the few resorts right on the beach. The two restaurants were good, but it’s a pity we couldn’t book them more often because we weren’t fans of the buffet. Too many organized activities and games interfere with enjoying the facilities; for example, pre‑planned pool activities push normal guests out, and the pool only opens from 0930 to 1830, so regular swimmers can’t do a few laps early. It feels too regimented.
